Well, we are on the road - but a much too familiar road, Highway 138 to be exact! Our departure was about six hours later than what we had hoped! The RV owner had a lot of extras to do in between rentals, including a change of alternator and battery - both of which we are thankful for. A slide out had to be fixed as well.
Stéphane felt badly about our late departure, so he is giving us two extra days with the RV. Maybe these two turkeys will be missing the Meldrum and McIntosh Thanksgivings! Not sure if the two extra days are worth missing out on turkey and apple pie...oh, and being with our family! 😊
After getting back in the saddle driving an RV, Dave soon felt more at ease, even being surrounded by heavy Montréal-area traffic. With some help from Tristan, Angela, and Annie at home, we were soon on the road. Destination tonight unknown - we will be staying chez Walmart somewhere!
